1 SAIGON ARRIVAL Arrive in Saigon.
Transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight in Saigon. (D) Day
2 SAIGON A full day city tour
of the dynamic Saigon, visit the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame
cathedral, the old Saigon Post Office, History Museum. After lunch in town
visit a lacquer ware factory, Thien Hau pagoda and Binh Tay market in the city's bustling China Town. Overnight
in Saigon. (B,L,D) Day
3 SAIGON – VINH LONG – SAIGON Depart for Vinh Long, visit My Thuan
suspension bridge en route. Arrive in Vinh Long. A
boat trip on Mekong River to visit Cai Be floating
market, a typical bustling trade on water of southern villagers. Continue to
small channel of An Binh islet. Visit to ceramic
tile factory, ceramics, coconut candy factory and a rice husking business,
stop to enjoy fruits in the orchards, home-made honey alcohol, local
traditional songs or visit the famous bonsai of gardener Sau
Giao, sapling garden of Tam Ho. Transfer back to Saigon.

4 SAIGON – TAY NINH – CU CHI – SAIGON Enjoy a drive through
typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh province in the west of Vietnam, visit the Cao Dai
temple with fantasy architecture and where all major faiths of the world
blend together in a unique religious cocktail and amazing noon ceremony.
After lunch in a local restaurant, visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, the
vestiges of the American war, an underground tunnel constructed by Vietnamese
resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Back to Saigon.

5 SAIGON – DA NANG – HOI AN Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for a short flight to Danang.
Pick up and transfer to visit Cham museum, the best collection of Cham
artifacts in the world. On the way to Hoi An, take a visit to the Marble
Mountain, a large garden mount complex and invaluable gift of nature listed
as a national heritage. Arrive in Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th
and 18th centuries. Overnight in Hoi An. (B,L,D) Day
6 HOI AN A boat trip on Thu Bon
River to visit traditional villages around Hoi An. Afternoon, take a walking
tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ houses, the
400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient pagodas and temples, and the colorful
market with shopping time. Overnight in Hoi An. (B,L,D) Day
7 HOI AN Leaving Hoi An after
breakfast, continue northwards Highway No.1 to Hue via Hai
Van pass, the pass of ocean clouds, and Lang Co, the wonderfully photogenic
fishing village. Arrive in Hue. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon, take a boat
trip on the romantic Perfume River to visit Hue's best-known religious site, Thien Mu pagoda and mausoleum of the former Emperor Minh Mang, built as the plan drawn out by the King himself and
on the place chosen by the King too in the middle of the pine forest. Enjoy
the traditional folk songs on Perfume River in the evening. Overnight in Hue.

8 HUE – HANOI Hue city tour for
visiting Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market.
Transfer to Phu Bai
airport after lunch for short flight to Hanoi. Arrive at Noi
Bai airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

9 HANOI – HA LONG A morning city tour of
Vietnam’s capital. Hanoi is unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French
colonial architecture, ancient temples, old pagodas and peaceful lakes, visit
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, One-Pillar pagoda and
Temple of Literature. Leave Hanoi after lunch. Enjoy the interesting 3–hour
drive to Halong, along the way you will see rice
fields, water buffalos and daily Vietnamese village life. Overnight in Halong. (B,L,D) Day
10 HA LONG – HANOI A five-hour private
boat trip to visit Thien Cung
cave (grotto of the Heavenly Place) and Dau Go cave
(grotto of the wooden stakes). A fresh seafood lunch will be served on board
before journeying back to Halong city. Back to
Hanoi. Evening, enjoy water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi. (B,L,D) Day
11 HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – HANOI A pleasant three-hour
drive to Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam in
the 9th century, the ancient citadel - most of which has since been destroyed
- once covered an area of three square kilometers. Visit the temples
dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien
Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968 - 980) and Emperor
Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980 -1009). Transfer
to Tam Coc. After a delicious Vietnamese lunch,
take a private sampan on the river for an hour and a half through the rice
paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc cave.
On the way, visit Bich Dong pagoda, set among pink
lotuses, the temple offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. Late
afternoon back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi. (B,L,D) Day
12 HANOI DEPARTURE Morning at leisure for
shopping in Hanoi till transfer to Noi Bai airport for next destination. (B) Package price* in USD/person
