Vacation Overview

Hoi An was an important port developed in 17th century and remained so for a long time. There used to be canals parallel to the streets, so merchandise could be loaded straight from the back of houses onto the boats.

Da Nang was the landing point of both the French and the Americans during their stints in Vietnam.

Itinerary

Car picks up the airport. Start a morning tour with visiting Cham Museum which houses the most extensive collection of relics from the historic Champa Kingdom of Vietnam dating from the 7th century. The Cham Museum was built in 1915 with the financial supports of the French Far - East Research Institue in Vietnam. This museum houses is the most extensive collection of Cham art world wide. Continue to Marble Mountain, a group of moutains near the city full of caves and pagodas. Marble carving works are nearby. 

Later, depart for Hoi An, an old port and trading post of central Vietnam from the 16th to 18th centuries. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Hoi An. After lunch, enjoy visiting some of the historic merchant and community houses, places of worship and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge. Transfer back to Danang airport. End of services.
