days from Da Nang to Hoi An (PEV-CE4) Itinerary Day
1 DA NANG – HOI AN Arrive in Danang airport. Pick up and transfer to Hoi An. On the
way stop to visit Marble Mountain, a large garden mount complex invaluable
gift of nature listed as a national heritage. Arrive in Hoi An, a major Asian
trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries, take a walking tour to visit
ancient town. Overnight in Hoi An. (L,D) Day
2 HOI AN – MY SON – HUE Breakfast at hotel,
depart to My Son, it is the Vietnam most important site of the ancient
kingdom of Champa, and as of 2000, an Unesco World Heritage site. My
Son is considered to be Champa’s smaller
counterpart to the grand cities of Southest Asia’s
other Indian influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan
(Malaysia)… Walking around this ancient kingdom to discover the Archaeologist
of brick-stupas that was built from 4th to 10th
century. In the afternoon, transfer Hue and enjoy the scenic en route before
climbing over Hai Van pass – the pass of ocean
clouds (If we don’t drive through the new tunnel at Hai
Van pass). Arrive Hue, check in hotel. Overnight in Hue. (B,L,D) Day
3 HUE Take a boat trip on
the romantic Perfume river, visit the seven-storey Thien
Mu Pagoda, then drive to visit the elaborate Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh and Mausoleum of
Emperor Tu Duc, the
fourth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, he had his
tomb constructed when still on the throne in 1848. Continue to visit Imperial
Citadel, which covers an area of 52 km2, the construction began between 1804
and 1833 under the Nguyen dynasty, surrounded as a fortification guarded by
80 bunkers and a deep trench of 40m large, connected by a bridge in front of
ten gates. Overnight in Hue. (B,L,D) Day
4 HUE – DEPARTURE Free at leisure until
transfer to Phu Bai
airport to taka a flight for next destination. (B) Package price in USD/person
