Itinerary
Day 1 SAIGON
ARRIVAL
Arrive
in Saigon. Guide and car pick you up at airport and transfer to hotel. The
rest of time is free at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2 SAIGON CU
CHI SAIGON
After
breakfast, visit Cu Chi tunnel, the underground system with a length of
over 200 km, is the vestiges of the American war constructed by Vietnamese
resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Return to
Saigon at noon. ench

Day 3 SAIGON CAN
THO
Depart
to Vinh Long, take a boat to visit along Tien Giang river, link upper
Mekong Delta, visit Cai
Be floating market. On the way, stop over to visit ceramic tile factory,
coconut candy factory and a rice husking business. Have lunch in an orchard
garden and enjoy fruits, home-made honey alcohol and local traditional
songs. Continue to transfer to Can Tho. Have dinner
and overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4 CAN THO
SAIGON
A
boat trip on the Hau Giang
river, link lower Mekong Delta, visit floating Cai
Rang and Phung Hiep
markets. Return to Saigon, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in
Saigon.
Day 5 SAIGON
PHAN THIET
Drive
to Phan Thiet from Saigon
city. On the way, stop over to visit fish sauce factory (called Nuoc Mam). Arrive in Phan Thiet at noon. Check in
hotel. The rest of time is free at leisure. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 6 PHAN THIET
NHA TRANG
Transfer
to Nha Trang, check in
hotel and then free to relax on the beach. Overnight in Nha
Trang.
Day 7 NHA TRANG
Take
a full day to discover all beauty-spots in Nha Trang: take a car to visit Cham Po Nagar temple, Long
Son pagoda and Ocean Institute. Take a cruise to visit Hon Tam island, Tri
Nguyen aquarium, the rest of time is free on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 8 NHA TRANG
Full
day free to relax on the beach and enjoy activities. There are many
activities for your choice: scuba diving, water sports, canoeing to the wild
small islands around, mud bath, etc. Overnight in Nha
Trang to watch a twindling
star night on a breezingly beautiful beach.
Day 9 NHA TRANG DA
NANG HOI AN
In
the morning, free to relax on the beach. Transfer to airport to take flight
to Da Nang. Arrive in Da
Nang, car pick up and transfer to Hoi An. Check in hotel. The rest of time
is free at leisure to discover the town yourself. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10 HOI AN MY
SON
Depart
to My Son, the most important site of the ancient Kingdom of Champa, a UNESCO World Heritage site. My Son is
considered to be Champas smaller counterpart to
the grand cities of Southest Asias other Indian
influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia) and Bagan
(Malaysia). Return Hoi An for lunch. In the
afternoon, visit Hoi An ancient town: walk around Hoi An, Tan Ky ancient house, Phuc Kien Temple, Japanese Covered Bridge and go shopping.
Return hotel by boat on Thu Bon river. Have dinner at a typical local
restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An. If you come on 14th of the month on the
Lunar calendar, you will enjoy a night of lantern lights on streets in Hoi
An.
Day 11 HOI AN -
HUE
Transfer
to Hue by car (through Hai Van pass). Check in
hotel. In the afternoon, visit Imperial Citadel. Enjoy a musical royal show
at ancient theatre in Imperial Citadel. Continue to visit Tu Duc Mausoleum and Dong Ba Market. Have dinner and overnight in Hue.
Day 12 HUE HOI
AN
A
boat trip on the Perfume River, stop over to visit Thien
Mu pagoda, situated on the bank of river. Continue to visit Minh Mang Mausoleum and Khai Dinh Mausoleum. Have lunch at a typical local
restaurant. Transfer to airport to take flight to Ha Noi.
Check in hotel. Take a one hour cyclo tour to
visit 36 old quarters street. Have dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 13 HANOI HA
LONG
Depart
to Ha Long by car. Enjoy the interesting 3 hour drive to Halong, along the way you will see rice fields, water
buffalo and daily Vietnamese village life, stop over to visit Dong Trieu pottery workshop. Get on the boat for check in
and start to have a cruise around Ha Long Bay, visit the Surprise natural
grotto, have a bath at Ti Top beach. Enjoy dinner
with fresh seafood. Overnight on board.
Day 14 HA LONG
HOI AN
Enjoy
cafe and biscuits, watching morning sunrise. Continue to take cruise to
visit Luon grotto. Breakfast on boat. Return to
the wharf and come back to Hanoi. On the way, stop over to visit the disables
handicraft workshop in Sao Do. Return Hanoi, continue to visit the city:
Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc pagoda and Quan Thanh temple. Enjoy
traditional water puppet show in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 15 HANOI
DEPARTURE
Breakfast
at hotel. Picked up to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho
Chi Minhs house on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda. Transfer to airport. End
tour.
