Vacation Overview
Vancouver, located on
Canada's West Coast, is one of the most beautiful cities in North
America. Surrounded by water, parks and the coastal mountains, the city provides
a stunning natural environment perfect for the pursuit of almost any
recreational activity.
There aren't many other
cities where you can have a round of golf in the morning, go sailing in
the afternoon, then hit the slopes for night skiing - if you're
ambitious.
Vancouver is the largest
city in the province of British Columbia, yet it hasn't lost its
community feel. Meanwhile, there are abundant restaurants in which you
can sample a plethora of foods of all ethnic varieties.
A strategic location on the Pacific Rim and the
US-Canadian border has helped Vancouver take a leading position in
Canadian business and trade. Meanwhile, Vancouver has emerged as one of
the top biotechnology hubs in the country, with exciting initiatives
stemming from the University of British Columbia and elsewhere.
