Overview
If you want to see
Western Europe’s main highlights but don’t have a lot of time, this is
the vacation for you! Visit Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy,
Switzerland, and France. Start your European trip in cosmopolitan London
with time to discover the capital at your leisure or by joining one of
our popular optional excursions. Next, cross the English Channel by ferry
and board your motor coach for a trip to Brussels, capital of Belgium and
seat of most of the European Union institutions. Drive through Germany
and enjoy a leisurely Rhine River cruise. Then follow the picturesque
Romantic Road all the way to Innsbruck, Austrian capital of Tyrol. Travel
to Italy and head to Venice, where you enjoy a boat ride and guided
sightseeing tour of St. Mark’s Square. Your stop in Verona to see
Juliet’s legendary balcony will give you a taste of Italy before crossing
the Alps into Switzerland to spend some time in beautiful Lucerne. Admire
Lucerne’s impressive city walls, covered wooden bridge, ornate patrician
houses lining cobblestone streets, and the Lion Monument—a masterful
stone sculpture in honor of the heroic Swiss Guard of Louis XVI. While in
Lucerne, marvel at the surrounding Alpine peaks. The grand finale of your
European vacation is in Paris, “The City of Light,” with an included
guided sightseeing tour and the option of discovering the city at night.
This European tour offers a taste of European flair!
