Day 1 TAIPEI – NANTOU – SUN MOON LAKE – WEN
WU TEMPLE – TEHUA VILLAGE – TSE-EN PAGODA – HOLY MONK SHRINE

Pick up at hotel then enbus for Nantou as
highlights around Sun Moon Lake include: Wen Wu Temple, Tehua Village,
Tse-En Pagoda, and Holy Monk Shrine. Sun Moon Lake is the most famous
lake attraction in Taiwan. With over 100 square kilometers, the lake got
its name because the northern part of it has the shape of the sun and the
southern part of it has the shape of crescent moon (those two parts are
separated by Guang-Hua Island). In the afternoon visit Puli, a small town
at the geographical heart of the island. The people of Nantou county in
central Taiwan are proud of the natural beauty of Puli. The town is
famous for its “ four Ws”: weather, water, women, and wine. Overnight in Sun
Moon Lake.

Day 2 SUN MOON
LAKE – TAINAN CITY TOUR – KAOHSIUNG CITY TOUR
Depart from Sun Moon Lake and travel to
Tainan City. Enjoy a tour of the Fort of Anping, the Kozinga Shrine and Chihkan
Lou Tower – renamed the 'Red-topped Tower' by China in 1945. In the
afternoon, proceed to Kaohsiung - Taiwan's second largest city. Here you
will have the opportunity to visit the Spring & Autumn Pavilion, the
Love River and the Lio Ho Night Market. Overnight in Kaohsiung. (B)

Day 3 KAOHSIUNG – KENTING – MAOPITOU –
OLUANPI LIGHT HOUSE – KENTING PARK – TAITUNG
Kenting
National Park, which was established on Jan. 01, 1948, is Taiwan’s first
National Park. The park is superbly located. Spanning the Hengchun
Peninsula, it faces the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Bashi Channel to
the south, and the Taiwan Straits to the west. Some of Taiwan’s largest
coral reefs lie off the coast and the forests along the park’s western
edge are the last of Taiwan’s coastal tropical forests. The name Hengchun
Peninsula says much about the area’s attractions, for it means “ Eternal
Spring.” The fantastic climate, lush forests, beaches, and reef
environments make Kenting a rival to internationally famous tropical
resorts like Bali and Phuket. Overnight in Taitung. (B)

Day 4 TAITUNG – EAST COAST TOUR
Sansiantai
is a promontory that separated from the coast by sea erosion. The geology
here is composed of volcanic agglomerates from DuluanMountain. The
surrounding water is a magnet for fish, making this a popular diving and
angling spot. Located to the southeast of ShihtiFishingHarbor, Shihtiping
(literally "stepped stone ground") is named for its terraced
rock formations that rise from the coast. A stone trail takes one up
close to the many geological wonders of this area, among them sea-eroded
potholes, trenches, cliffs, and platforms, as well as coral reefs.
Shihtiping is also a popular place for divers and fishermen. Overnight in
Hualien city. (B)

Day 5 HUALIEN – TAROKO GORGE GATEWAY –
ETERNAL SPRING SHRINE – SWALLOW CAVES – TUNNEL OF NINE TURNS – TIENHSIANG
LODGE – MARBLE FACTORY
Taroko Gorge is one of the seven
wonders of Asia that no traveler should miss. You will be guided along a
12-mile stretch of highway built into awesome marble cliffs high above
the rushing river. Your route will take you through 38 tunnels including
the Swallows Grotto, the Tunnel of Nine Turns and the Marble Bridge of
Motherly Devotion. Visit Chi Hsing Beach and Stone Sculptural Park in the
afternoon. Then drive along scenic Su-hua highway back for Taipei around
7pm (End of tour) (B)
