Day 1 DEPARTURE USA
Experience the beauty
Anchorage has to offer
Depart from U.S.A. to Hong
Kong. Cross the International Date Line en route and lose one day.
Day 2 ARRIVAL IN
HONG KONG
Upon arrival Hong Kong, the
"City of Life", meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel
for rest.

Day 3 HONG KONG
A city always on the brink of change,
Hong Kong continues to excite travelers with its mix of the old and the
new, a combination of Chinese character with colonial touches. In the
morning tour, discover some new island attractions such as the Victoria
Peak Tower, and a new complex of shops and restaurants from which to take
in the classic “million dollar view.” Other highlights include Repulse
Bay, Aberdeen floating village, and the bargain shopper’s Mecca, Stanley
Market. (B)
Day 4 HONG KONG
A full-day at leisure to explore the
outer islands, join an optional Macau excursion, sail the harbor, or shop
and dine on your own. Pacificwide Vacations will be on hand to assist
with your plans and offer recommendations. (B)
Day 5 HONG KONG - SAIGON, VIETNAM
Transfer
to airport for flight to Saigon, Vietnam. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel
for check-in. The rest of the day is free at leisure. (B)

Day 6 SAIGON
Begin your exploration of this exciting
city with a tour of the historic center, strolling along Dong Khoi
Street, formerly known as the Rue Catinat, the main shopping thoroughfare
and heart of old colonial Saigon. Pass by classic European-style
landmarks such as the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville), and the old
Opera House. Pay a quick visit to the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral
and the Central Post Office. Afterwards, visit the Reunification Palace,
the harrowing War Remnants Museum, and Emperor of Jade Pagoda. In the
afternoon, we will head to Cholon (Chinatown) for a visit to Binh Tay
Market, and Thien Hau Pagoda. Tour will be ended at the central Ben Thanh
Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts,
appealing to every taste. (B)
Day 7 SAIGON
Take a morning excursion to the Cu Chi
Tunnels. Never discovered by American forces, these tunnels were an
important Vietcong base during the American War. Stretching over 200 km,
this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard laterite,
connected command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Today,
you can walk through the area and learn about the day-to-day life of the
VC, see the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby-traps, and
even venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been modified to
accommodate tourists. Afterwards, continue to Tay Ninh, the birthplace of
the unique Cao Dai religion, a fusion of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity,
Islam and native Vietnamese spiritual beliefs. Every day at noon,
worshippers garb in colorful robes flock to the Cao Dai Great Temple to
participate in the daily prayer sessions. Return to Saigon in the late
afternoon. (B)
Day 8 SAIGON - USA
Bid
farewell to Saigon, Vietnam and transfer to airport for the flight home. (B)
